01. 📝 INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS:
Welcome to Alderpen Media, Inc. By accessing or using any of our websites, services, programs, applications, products (whether paid or free), content, or community platforms — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (referred to herein as “Terms,” “Terms of Service,” or “this Agreement”).
These Terms apply to everything provided by Alderpen Media, Inc., including (but not limited to) public or private initiatives and programs such as The H@ME WORK Parents Grow With Me Initiative™, membership-based communities such as The H@ME WORK Community™, coaching services, creative or technical services, and all related digital products, downloads, physical merchandise, and other offerings — whether sold, gifted, or made available as part of participation.
By participating in any program, submitting an application, making a donation, purchasing a service or product, or joining our community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms, along with our Website Use Policy and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our websites, submit applications, or participate in any of our services or programs.
02. 🎯 MISSION & MINISTRY:
Alderpen Media, Inc. was founded by George and Jodell Benson, who believe that doing good and generating income can work hand in hand. By strategically and intentionally blending a business structure with a ministry mindset and a servant’s heart, we operate as a For-Profit Ministry (see “For-Profit Ministry” in Definitions).
This business-ministry model — along with our decision NOT to pursue 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status — gives us greater flexibility in how we operate while remaining firmly committed to a ministry mindset: one that values service, transparency, sustainability, and long-term impact.
We strive to operate in alignment with our mission:
This approach influences how we design our programs, choose our partnerships, and prioritize projects. While we may offer services on a pay-what-you-can or donation basis or at no cost to selected individuals, all such offerings are governed by the same level of intentionality and purpose. In many cases, access to services is granted through structured applications, private invitations, or participation in public-facing programs aligned with our mission.
By engaging with our services or community, you are supporting a model that blends faith-driven values, entrepreneurial action, and a deep desire to help others succeed in both life and work — especially those raising families while navigating self-employment, content creation, or home-based business ownership.

However, eligibility for specific programs, services, or initiatives may be limited by clearly stated criteria — such as residency, age, language compatibility, or alignment with the mission of Alderpen Media, Inc. These criteria will be outlined in the relevant application, program description, or offering.
All services and correspondence are currently conducted in English. We hope to expand language support in the future as resources allow.
Participation in any offering, including donation-based or pay-what-you-can initiatives, does not guarantee selection or service fulfillment. For application-based programs, selection is subjective and determined at the sole discretion of Alderpen Media, Inc. and The H@ME WORK™ Ministry Team, based on available resources, alignment with mission goals, and other internal considerations.
Users are expected to engage respectfully and responsibly when interacting with Alderpen Media, its representatives, or other community participants. You are responsible for providing accurate, timely information and for maintaining communication throughout any engagement. Failure to do so may result in removal from consideration or forfeiture of access to selected services.

-
Violates these Terms or other posted guidelines;
-

-
Acts in a manner that is inconsistent with the mission, values, or community standards of Alderpen Media, Inc.;

Access to certain offerings may require an application, invitation, or selection process.
All offerings — regardless of delivery method, price model, or platform — are created and provided with care, intentionality, and the goal of equipping purpose-driven parents with the resources they need to thrive at working or running a business from home.
06. 💳 DONATIONS & PAYMENT TERMS:
Alderpen Media, Inc. accepts both financial contributions and standard payments in support of its mission to serve purpose-driven parents. These transactions may occur in the form of Donations, Application Donations, and Service Donations (each as defined in the Definitions section), fixed-price purchases, subscriptions, affiliate-related sales, or promotional collaborations.
Application Donations
In programs such as The H@ME WORK Parents Grow With Me Initiative™, submitting an application may require a minimum Application Donation (e.g., $5 USD). This donation helps offset the administrative and technical costs of hosting application systems, reviewing submissions, and processing replies.
Application Donations are:
-
Mandatory for submission (as clearly stated on the application form)
-
Non-refundable, regardless of selection outcome
-
Processed securely via third-party payment processors such as Stripe
Applicants must confirm that they have read and agreed to these Terms — including this donation policy — at the time of submission.
Service Donations & Deposits
For selected applications or mission-aligned services offered on a “pay-what-you-can” basis, users may be asked to provide a Service Donation — a voluntary contribution tied to the value of services rendered.
In some programs, applicants may also be invited to indicate a Service Deposit, representing a portion of the Service Donation they are prepared to submit upfront if selected. This is used to confirm readiness to move forward and to help with scheduling and planning.
-
The actual dollar amounts entered are hidden from the reviewing team and play no role in the selection process.
-
Only the applicant’s yes/no response indicating willingness to make a deposit is visible to the team during review.
Deposits and donation expectations, if applicable, will be clearly communicated after selection and prior to any services being scheduled.
Products, Services, and Paid Offerings
Offerings by Alderpen Media, Inc. — including digital downloads, physical merchandise, custom deliverables, coaching sessions, and other services — may be provided:
-
Free of charge
-
On a donation or pay-what-you-can basis
-
Through traditional payment models such as one-time payments, subscriptions, or bundled pricing
In all paid transactions, the pricing structure and refund policy will be clearly stated at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise noted:
-
All digital products, downloadable content, and custom deliverables are non-refundable
-
Refunds, where offered, are provided at the sole discretion of Alderpen Media, Inc. and may be subject to reasonable conditions such as timeframe, platform limitations, or usage
Third-Party Payment Processing
All donations and payments — including for products, services, subscriptions, and application-based submissions — are processed via secure third-party payment platforms such as Stripe. Alderpen Media, Inc. does not store full credit card data and relies on these providers to ensure PCI-compliant processing and data protection.
07. 🛍️ AFFILIATE PROMOTIONS & SPONSORED CONTENT:
Alderpen Media, Inc. may promote third-party products, services, tools, or platforms through affiliate links, referral arrangements, sponsored collaborations, or in-kind promotional agreements. These relationships may generate compensation in the form of commissions, referral fees, or the receipt of physical goods or services.
These promotional relationships are always subject to strict internal standards of review and ethical compliance, outlined below.
Review Standards for Products & Services
To maintain the integrity of our For-Profit Ministry model, Alderpen Media, Inc. adheres to the following standards before entering into any affiliate or sponsorship agreement:
-
We only promote products or services that either we or a member of our team have personally used, tested, or evaluated, and found to offer meaningful value to our audience.
-
We require a minimum 28-day usage period before considering a product or service for affiliate promotion or sponsorship. This is considered a floor, not a ceiling — longer evaluation periods may be required depending on factors such as the product’s complexity, learning curve, use frequency, or cost.
-
We do not promote or accept sponsorships from categories that conflict with our ethics or mission. This includes (but is not limited to) gambling, fast-cash schemes, adult content, or products/services designed to exploit fear or manipulation.
-
We reserve the right — and set the expectation — to speak honestly about our experiences, regardless of compensation. Any sponsored relationship must honor our commitment to transparency and constructive feedback.
-
Pilot programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided appropriate safeguards and disclosures are in place.
Review Eligibility & Tax Treatment
Alderpen Media, Inc. treats all in-kind gifts, services, or sponsored merchandise as taxable income under U.S. law. As such:
-
All products or services received for promotional consideration are reported as In-Kind Merchandise Revenue or In-Kind Service Revenue, as appropriate.
-
We reserve the right to:
-
Return physical products — particularly those with a fair market value of $250 or higher — and may require the sponsor to provide a prepaid return label.
-
Limit access to digital tools or services to a trial period of less than 30 days, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
-
Retain the item and report its value as income, return the item and document the transaction accordingly, or use the item as a giveaway and report it as a marketing expense.
These standards help protect our values, ensure compliance with tax and disclosure laws, and reinforce the trust we seek to build with our audience and community.
All affiliate or sponsorship relationships will be clearly disclosed in accordance with the Website Use Policy and applicable advertising and consumer protection laws.
Users are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies and terms of any third-party platforms before making purchases or submitting personal information.
08. 📋 APPLICATION & SELECTION-BASED PROGRAMS:
Some services, programs, or initiatives offered by Alderpen Media, Inc. may be available only through a structured application process. Selection processes may vary by program and may include, but are not limited to, the following selection methods:
A. MISSION-BASED SELECTION PROCESS:
This process is used in programs such as The H@ME WORK Parents Grow With Me Initiative™ and other initiatives requiring thoughtful evaluation beyond basic eligibility.
-
Prayerful & Mission-Aligned Review: Applications are reviewed by members of the H@ME WORK™ Ministry Team or other authorized representatives. Every application receives thoughtful, prayerful, and individualized attention. We prioritize applicants whose requests are:
-
-
Complete and clearly presented,
-
Aligned with our mission,
-
Feasible within available resources,
-
Reflective of genuine intent and integrity.
-
-
Minimum Eligibility & Legal Considerations: To ensure fairness and compliance with U.S. law, we do not request or consider demographic or protected class information — including, but not limited to, race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status. Selection is based solely on:
-
Mission alignment,
-
Application completeness and clarity,
-
Feasibility of the request,
-
Potential for meaningful impact.
-
Additional Review Factors: Our team may also consider:
-
Trustworthiness, humility, or self-awareness conveyed in responses,
-
Potential ripple effect of the applicant’s success on others,
-
Readiness to take action, follow through, and engage with support.
-
Donations & Visibility During Review: For donation-based programs:
-
The amount of any Service Donation or proposed Deposit is not visible to the review team.
-
Only the applicant’s yes/no response indicating willingness to provide a deposit (if applicable) is visible, helping the team gauge commitment while maintaining fairness.
-
Application Batching & Selection Timing: Applications are typically reviewed in batches multiple times per month. If no slots are open at the time of review, an application may be marked as ACTIVE for future consideration — this is not a guaranteed waitlist.
-
Expiration & Reapplying: Applications expire either 90 days from submission or on a date specified by the applicant — whichever comes first. After expiration, users are welcome to submit a new application, particularly if circumstances have changed.
-
Internal Notes: Reviewers may, at their sole discretion, keep confidential internal notes to track observations, decisions, or communication. These notes are not shared with applicants or outside parties and are used solely for administrative purposes.
B. FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED SELECTION:
A time-based process where qualified applications are accepted in the order received, until all available slots are filled. This approach may be used for high-demand but low-capacity programs or one-time offerings with a limited number of spots.
C. ELIGIBILITY-BASED AUTOMATIC APPROVAL:
Some offerings may allow for automatic participation based on meeting clearly defined eligibility criteria — such as age, location, registration status, or user intent. Provided capacity is available, users who meet these criteria may be granted access without further review.
This model is commonly used for introductory programs or free tiers of community access, such as basic entry into The H@ME WORK Community™.
D. INVITATION-ONLY OR INTERNAL NOMINATION:
Certain programs, opportunities, or community tiers may be accessible only through private invitation or internal nomination. Invitations may be extended based on prior participation, alignment with the mission and values of Alderpen Media, or a willingness to serve in some capacity such as a volunteer moderator in The H@ME WORK Community™. Access through this model is non-transferable and may be limited by availability or internal team capacity.
E. HYBRID OR ROLLING REVIEW MODELS:
Alderpen Media, Inc. may use hybrid models that combine multiple selection methods — such as eligibility + application, or invitation + donation. Some programs may also be reviewed on a rolling basis, meaning applications are reviewed as they are received, rather than in batches.
PLEASE NOTE: Alderpen Media, Inc. reserves the right to add, remove, or modify selection methods at any time, based on the program’s needs, goals, or structure.
09. 🛡️ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT USE:
Ownership of Materials
Unless otherwise stated, all content created, published, or distributed by Alderpen Media, Inc. — including but not limited to written materials, videos, images, audio recordings, downloadable content, online course content, website layout, and branding assets — is the intellectual property of Alderpen Media, Inc. or is used with the appropriate rights or licenses. Such content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

All services and deliverables provided through Alderpen Media, Inc. — including but not limited to logos, websites, graphic designs, and other creative outputs — are created by Alderpen Media, Inc., even when completed by individual team members.
By default, Alderpen Media, Inc. retains ownership of all deliverables until ownership is officially transferred. In most cases, ownership is transferred to the client after the service is completed and either:
-
Full payment has been received, or
-
A written notice from Alderpen Media, Inc. confirms the service was donated and that ownership is being gifted to the client.
Once ownership is transferred, the client has full rights to use, modify, and publicly display the final deliverable. In situations where ownership is not transferred, Alderpen Media, Inc. may instead grant the client a license to use the materials, based on the scope of the agreement.
Ownership transfer or licensing will always be confirmed in writing — through a service agreement, email, invoice, or other documented communication.

By participating in any recorded event, you are expressly granting Alderpen Media, Inc. the worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to record, edit, reproduce, and distribute your image, voice, likeness, and contributions in any format or medium — including, but not limited to, video, audio, written transcripts, or promotional materials.
All recorded content — including RAW Footage and any PUBLIC Video(s) or PUBLICLY Released Video(s) — remains the exclusive property of Alderpen Media, Inc.
📢 PUBLIC EVENTS
Publicly Recorded Events include, but are not limited to:
-
Program- or initiative-based video calls
-
Livestreams & Webinars
-
Interviews
-
Group discussions
-
Other events hosted by Alderpen Media, Inc.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all events should be assumed to be Public Events. All contributions made during Public Events are considered eligible for use in PUBLIC Videos or PUBLICLY Released Video(s) without requiring further approval.
No verbal reminder or individual acknowledgment will be provided during Public Events. By choosing to participate, you accept these terms in full.
If you do not wish to be included in such recordings, you should not participate in Public Events.
🔒 PRIVATE EVENTS
Private Events include, but are not limited to, PRIVATE One-on-One Coaching Calls, PRIVATE Small Group Coaching Calls, and any other events expressly designated as Private by an authorized representative of Alderpen Media, Inc.
These events may still be recorded; however, Alderpen Media, Inc. will implement the following safeguards before any content is used publicly:
At the beginning of each Private Event, the following statement will be read aloud, and participants will be asked to verbally acknowledge the policy on the recording.
Private Event Declaration Statement:
Today is [DATE] and the time is [TIME]. We are now starting the recording of an event that is hereby being designated as a PRIVATE EVENT.
What that means is this: throughout this event, you as the participant(s) are expected to interrupt and get the attention of the Alderpen Media representative hosting the event if anything is said or done — by you or around you — that you do not want included in a publicly released version.
It is your sole responsibility to make that request, during the call, and to ensure that an authorized representative of Alderpen Media, Inc. has heard and acknowledged your request clearly on the video recording.
When making a request, please clearly state what you want excluded, explain your concern, and confirm that the team member has acknowledged your request out loud on the recording.
We strive to create a space where you feel free to speak and share openly, but please understand that Alderpen Media, Inc. cannot be responsible for redacting any part of a PRIVATE Event unless your request was clearly made and acknowledged on the call.
If you choose to continue participating in this event, and no such request is made and acknowledged, we will consider your contributions fully eligible for inclusion in any future PUBLIC Video(s) or PUBLICLY Released Video(s).

Alderpen Media, Inc. is committed to safeguarding your personal information and using it responsibly. By engaging with our services, submitting an application, or participating in our programs or community platforms, you acknowledge and agree to our data handling practices as outlined below and in our full Privacy Policy.

We treat all Private Information (as defined in Section 3: Definitions) with confidentiality. Access is limited to authorized members of the H@ME WORK™ Ministry Team and relevant Alderpen Media, Inc. personnel directly responsible for processing your request or participation.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your Private Information. We use secure platforms for data collection, storage, and payment processing. However, no system is 100% secure, and by using our services, you acknowledge this risk.
Public-Facing & Shoutout Information
Any information you submit through a designated “shoutout” field, share during a recorded call, or voluntarily provide for promotional or testimonial purposes may be used publicly. This is referred to as Public-Facing Information or Shoutout Information and includes content such as your business name, website, tagline, or social media handle.
You are always in control of whether or not you provide Shoutout Information. If you do, we may use it to:
-
Celebrate your story or journey,
-
Showcase impact in our ministry or marketing materials,
-
Promote your mission to inspire others.
If at any time you wish to revise or retract previously submitted Shoutout Information, you may contact us to make that request. We will make reasonable efforts to comply when technically feasible and where the content has not already been widely distributed, embedded, or published in materials we are unable to modify without significant disruption. This includes, but is not limited to, past livestreams, published videos, or printed materials.
Third-Party Tools & Integrations
We use third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, Google Forms, Skool, social media, and email tools) to support our work. Your use of these tools — whether directly or via embedded services — is subject to the privacy policies and terms of those providers. We encourage you to review them as needed.

14. 🛡️ INDEMNIFICATION & USER RESPONSIBILITY:
At Alderpen Media, Inc., we believe that generosity, collaboration, and shared trust are the foundation of any healthy community. In return for the services, resources, and opportunities we offer, we ask participants to take full responsibility for their own words, actions, and submissions. This helps protect not only our mission, but also the safety and integrity of everyone involved.
By accessing, using, or participating in any offering provided by Alderpen Media, Inc., you agree to take full responsibility for your own conduct, the accuracy of the information you provide, and the legal rights associated with any materials you share or submit.
📌 Your Responsibility
When you submit content — including applications, shoutouts, testimonials, feedback, business information, images, audio, video, or creative assets — you are affirming that:
-
You own the content or have full legal rights to share it.
For example, if you submit a logo, a personal story, or a photo of your workspace or family, you confirm that you are either the owner or have clear permission from the person or company who owns it. If the content includes another person (such as a spouse, child, coworker, or client), you confirm that you have their permission to share it publicly or privately, depending on the context in which it was submitted. -
You are not infringing on anyone else’s intellectual property, privacy rights, publicity rights, or legal protections.
Submitting content you don’t have the right to use — such as copyrighted images pulled from the internet, stock photography without a proper license, or private information about someone else — may expose both you and Alderpen Media, Inc. to legal risk. By submitting, you agree to bear full responsibility for ensuring those risks are not present. -
You are using our resources in a good-faith, honest, and mission-aligned manner.
You agree not to misuse coaching services, community access, or educational resources in ways that would harm others, misrepresent yourself, or manipulate the systems we’ve created for mission-aligned support. -
You understand that results are not guaranteed.
You are responsible for how you implement any ideas, coaching, strategies, or deliverables. Alderpen Media, Inc. provides these tools in service of your growth — but your decisions and outcomes are your own. -
You are solely responsible for any statements you make during livestreams, video calls, or public discussions.
If you share a story, opinion, or claim — including statements about individuals, businesses, or organizations — you accept full responsibility for the accuracy and consequences of those remarks. This includes any potential claims of defamation, misrepresentation, or offense, even if Alderpen Media, Inc. misunderstood your intent or did not intervene at the time.
🧱 Indemnification
To protect Alderpen Media, Inc. and the integrity of our mission, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alderpen Media, Inc., its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and H@ME WORK™ Ministry Team members against any legal claims, demands, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of:
-
Content or materials you submitted without having full legal rights;

Misuse of our platforms, tools, resources, or services;
-
Breach of these Terms or any related policy;
-
Any dispute, claim, or legal issue that results from your use of our services, participation in a program, or interaction with third parties;
-
Any statement or representation made by you — whether verbal, written, or recorded — that causes harm to others or leads to legal action against Alderpen Media, Inc.
This protection applies both during and after your engagement with Alderpen Media, Inc., and includes all uses of content in PUBLIC Videos, recordings, coaching, testimonials, shoutouts, and other mission-related materials.
